  List of Available Poker Tables

Once you have selected the style of play and type of game, the central area of the Table List will display all available online poker tables for those selections. Columns provide attributes for tables, and each table is defined by a single row of information.

The column headings allow you to sort by a particular attribute. For example, clicking on Avg Pot will sort the list of tables by the average size of the pots, from highest to lowest. This is useful if you want to play against other players who are willing to wager a lot of money in each hand. Clicking again will sort from lowest to highest, which helps you find a table with more conservative players.

Use the column headings to help you search through the list for a table that matches your needs for the style and pace of play. Two major areas for selection are Limit and Stakes.

Sort by Limit. These are limits on the maximum bet or raise. In poker, there are three basic Limit types: Limit, Pot Limit and No Limit. In general terms, Limit Poker has a fixed limit to the amount you can bet or raise on your turn - usually it is the minimum bet for that round. With Pot Limit, you raise up to the amount in the Pot, and with No Limit you can raise any amount up to what's left in your chip stack at table. NOTE: No Limit play is only available at our Texas Hold'em tables.

Sort by Stakes. Stakes are the minimum bets for the table, usually shown as two figures separated by a slash (such as 2/4 or $5/$10). The Stakes give an indication as to how "rich" a table is - how fast and high the pots may grow. The higher the stakes, the richer the table. The first figure is the minimum bet for the first two rounds (Pre-Flop and Flop), and the second is for the final two rounds (Turn and River). There are no currency symbols for Free Play table stakes. The minimum bet in No Limit and Pot Limit games is the same for all rounds, but the stakes are still represented as two figures ($5/$5).

Table Details. When you click once on any row in the List of Tables, that row will be highlighted. The Table Details window will then show a quick view of Table Details, including Players and Waiting List. The Players tab shows who is sitting at that table, where they are from and how many chips are left in their stacks. The Waiting List tab shows how many players are on the waiting list for the highlighted table.

Go to Selected Table. When you locate the table you want, either double-click the row in the List of Tables, or click the View Table button at the bottom of the Table Details area. Both of these methods will open your selected table in a game window. You can click on any open seat to sit down and start playing after the current hand has completed or the blinds come around to your seat.

Join Waiting List. You can join a poker table's waiting list by clicking on the green Join Waiting List button, located below the View Table button. After clicking this button, you will be asked whether to join that one particular table, or to join all other tables sharing the same name (tables sharing the same name also share the same limit, stakes, and maximum player allowance). If there is no waiting list, you have the option to Take This Seat Now, Cancel, or Cancel All Other Reservations.

To create a Custom List, click the green wrench to the right of the Custom List tab. A pop-up window will appear that will allow you further customize the List of Tables.
