The online poker room hosts a $100,000 guaranteed holdem poker tournament for its players each Sunday. This past week, 824 players competed for their share.
Montreal, QC (PRWeb) June 13, 2007 – Everest Poker today announced the winners of the most recent weekly guaranteed $100,000 holdem poker tournament. The online poker room hosts its biggest scheduled guaranteed poker event each Sunday afternoon at 14:30GMT.
"This past week saw 824 players join in the action," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "This week's event was dominated by players from The Netherlands, starting from the top and occupying six of the top ten positions."
The biggest winner for this event was Whitecobra from The Netherlands, who received $21,000 for coming in first. Second place belonged to a fellow countryman, kraker, who who walked away with $12,000. Andi100 from Germany came in third, winning $9,000. The rest of the top ten winners are as follows: bustable from The Netherlands ($7,000); march12 from France ($5,000); krimeman from France ($4,000); sjaak-afhaak from The Netherlands ($3,000); nese from France ($1750); Allard87 from The Netherlands ($1500); hazzler from The Netherlands ($1250).
"Many of the 820-plus players that participated this week got into the big game through our low-cost daily satellite tournaments," added May. "Players can get in on the action for as little as $12."
