Everest Poker announces the winners of its recent Everest Poker Avalanche event. The top twenty players from this event will go on to participate in the online Everest Poker Avalanche finale for their chance at a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize.
Montreal, QC (PRWeb) January 30, 2007 - Everest Poker today announced the winners of the first Round 3 Everest Poker Avalanche Event. The poker tournament was held on January 27th and the top twenty players not only walked away with $5,300 but a seat at the Everest Poker Avalanche online finale. The online finale will be held on September 17th at 15:00 GMT at the online poker room.
"After the online finale is finished, the real fun begins," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager. "The final ten players from the last online event are going to each win a trip to play holdem poker at a live final table at an undisclosed location."

Spanning nine months, the Everest Poker Avalanche involves both online play as well as live poker games. The tournament features a three-round structure that allows players at all levels to join in. Round 1 satellites are designed for players looking for little up-front risk: buy-ins are $3+.30 or $11+1. Round 2 satellites are ideal for players that are more confident in their ability and wish to save time – the buy-in is $56+5.
