Everest Poker has launched qualifying satellite tournaments to the sixth annual World Heads-Up Poker Championship, taking place May 19-28, 2006, at the Casino Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain.

Everest Poker (www.everestpoker.com) has launched qualifying satellite tournaments to the sixth annual World Heads-Up Poker Championship, taking place May 19-28, 2006, at the Casino Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain.

The World Heads-Up Poker Championship is a one-on-one, single-elimination tournament that will also be broadcast in 11 one-hour television episodes in various international markets.

Everest Poker's Direct Entry Satellite Tournament takes place April 22, 2006 at 14:00 GMT. Winners of the Direct Entry Satellite will receive prize packages worth US$5,000, which also covers the 2,600€ buy-in for the Barcelona event.

Feeder satellites to the Direct Entry Tournament include $5+$.50 tournaments and $2+$.20 rebuy tournaments.
