Everest Poker has launched a series of online satellite tournaments for the World Series of Poker. In an expansion of last year's success, Everest Poker will be hosting three WSOP Direct Entry Satellites.

Everest Poker (www.everestpoker.com) has launched a series of online satellite tournaments for the World Series of Poker. In an expansion of last year's success, Everest Poker will be hosting three WSOP Direct Entry Satellites:

* Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 14:00 GMT
* Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 14:00 GMT
* Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 14:00 GMT

Each Direct Entry Satellite is guaranteed, which means at least one prize package will be awarded for each tournament. Each prize package is worth $13,000, and includes the $10,000 buy-in for the WSOP plus $3,000 in travel expenses.

The World Series of Poker Main Event takes place July 28 – August 10, 2006, at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
