Eight players were winners in Everest Poker's Direct Entry Satellite Tournament for the French Open on January 21, 2006.

On February 8, seven of the eight winners descended on Deauville, France, site of the French Open, a European Poker Tour event. Each player had their 4,000€ buy-in paid for by Everest Poker, and each player also received US$1,500 in spending money.
The last Everest Poker player was eliminated from the tournament on Day 2.
